Build with Strength is partnering with Habitat for Humanity International and the Insulating Concrete Forms Manufacturers Association to fortify decent, affordable and sustainable housing across the U.S. This initiative will help to provide incredibly strong and sustainable homes for dozens of Habitat Partner Families over the course of several years.
We want to thank our MRMCA Members Chaney Enterprises and Vulcan Materials Company as well as BuildBlock, ICFMA, ACPA, Andrews Equipment Company, Inc. and all the Volunteers of making this a reality!
This build in Baltimore, MD is open to volunteers and visitors each day. The concrete pours will take place on the 17th and 23rd. On the 16th and 22nd, ICF supplier BuildBlock will host an on-site training course covering installation and benefits of the product. This class will take place adjacent to the active worksite and provide a classroom setting for learning. Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to bring a camping chair. This is an opportunity to learn in an actual construction environment, meet industry professionals, and lend a hand as the walls go up on this special project. For those volunteering, construction will continue while classes and events take place on the side.
