Maryland Ready Mix Concrete Association, Inc. (MRMCA) connects the Maryland Concrete Industry through promoting, educating, advocating, and networking and we could not do that without the constant support and dedication of our Members.

It is integral to the success of our industry and the Association that we collaborate with Members, other industry leaders, and other industry Association Committees to move concrete in Maryland forward. Below are the open MRMCA Member Committees along with partner organizations we participate in.

  • MEMBERSHIP: Collaborate on innovative ideas to attract, recognize, and recruit new potential Members, and retain current Members, by encouraging participation in committees, events, and other Association activities. Advise on events and programs to advance the Association and further the use of concrete in Maryland.
  • LEGISLATIVE & ADVOCACY: Join other Members to advocate for the concrete industry through MRMCA’s legislative and lobbying efforts. Collaborate on public messaging of key sustainability and environmental initiatives, workforce changes, new laws, and opportunities. Advise on public candidates who will encourage public policies that align with the ready mix concrete industry’s missions in Maryland.
  • PROMOTION & EVENTS: MRMCA Members & Team join to create unique promotional, and educational events and opportunities aimed at advancing the concrete industry in Maryland. Volunteer, advise, and support the MRMCA Team at your favorite events.
    • Join the Annual Maryland Concrete Conference Planning Committee and help decide the trajectory of the program, topics, and Speakers.
    • Join the Concrete Golf Planning Committee
    • Join the Maryland Women in Concrete Group to stay updated on events, networking activities, and planning for the Conference.
  • TECHNICAL: A joint committee of MRMCA and ACI Members working for the industry in all areas of concrete technical oversight, quality control, specifications, codes, and standards.
  • CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION & SCHOLARSHIP:  Advise on various certification and educational programs, both statewide and local, that are critical for maintaining high standards in the concrete industry in Maryland. Foster education and career development in the field of concrete though outreach. Advise on educational programs for the Association, Scholarship funding decisions, and support to students.
  • SAFETY: An industry-wide Committee for Maryland aimed at identifying and addressing health and safety related issues in the various fields of transportation and construction materials industry.
